Finding Home is a beautifully illustrated Australian children’s story inspired by Bond, a real-life deaf white cat with one blue eye, one green eye, and a rather special way of experiencing the world.

Bond can’t hear the birds sing or the leaves rustle. Instead, she feels gentle thrums beneath her paws and notices the colourful flickers and movements around her.

When an unexpected adventure takes her beyond the safety of her garden gate, Bond must find her way home through an unfamiliar world. Along the way, she discovers friendship in unexpected places, kindness when she needs it most, and a courage she didn’t know she had.

Created for children aged 4–8, and for the grown-ups who will fall in love with Bond too, Finding Home is a gentle story about bravery, belonging, empathy and the different ways we experience the world.
